In the fields of France, a whimsical game beckons, known as Jeu Gruyère, or the "Swiss Cheese Game." It's a kaleidoscopic fusion of Chutes and Ladders, and the Operation game by Milton Bradley. But it's more than that. It's a test of both wit and agility, as players navigate a three-dimensional maze while controlling the ball carrier using a pulley system. The game board, an inclined wooden platform, is studded with holes at intervals, and the nimble Gruyèrist guides the ball over the board via a labyrinthine network of ropes and pulleys that works like a two-axis X-Y plotter. If one is blessed with skill, they can guide the ball to the zenith of the board without it plummeting through any of the Swiss cheese holes. But for the uninitiated, brace for a fair share of time spent watching the ball plummet to the ground.

Our Version is made from 12mm plywood with a solid timber frame, it comes with all of the hardware nessesary to ply the game and is a great addition to any party, wedding or family gathering.
